1.SECURITY
You have access to a secure bike park in the underground car
park. The bike park has it's own 24hr surveillance cameras
in addition to the main ones in the garage. You will be given
the code on arrival. There are padded hooks for holding your
bike upright by the front wheel. You must bring your own bike
locks.
2.CLEANING & MAINTAINENCE
There is a hose pipe cleaning area next to the bike park.
Bike cleaning spray is supplied ready diluted in a hand pressure
sprayer. Drying material is supplied. Some basic tools are
also included. Track pumps with pressure guage, one bike stand,
pedal spanner and basic tool kit.
3.
MAPS and ROUTES
You receive a new Cadiz Provincia Road Map 1:200.000
Route cue guides (Audax Style) for the main routes out from
your hotel. These are on ordinary paper however we do supply
some low tech plastic bags to put them in.
The routes are posted on this site and more are being added
all the time. The majority of main routes are also posted
on www.mapmyride.com and www.bikely.com. You can download
the routes from either in a format suitable for putting into
a GPS unit and also for viewing on Google Earth.
The hotel also has an area where the Cadiz road map is displayed
showing some of the principal routes.
4.
HELP NUMBER
You receive this local number on arrival in your pack. This
is only for road side emergencies. The number is manned by
English speaking people. Should you have a serious mechanical
problem and cannot get back and are unable to find a taxi
we will help. Call the number and we will arrange a taxi on
your behalf to come and collect you and your bike. You
pay for the taxi. We indicate
approximate rates to the various towns and villages for taxis
willing to pick up a rider and his bike. ( The bike is expected
to go in the boot with wheels off, the taxis we call will
have sufficient space ).
5.
DRINK VOUCHER
Each cycle pack contains a cyclecadiz.com drink voucher. This
is redeemable at the participating hotel bar. The voucher
is valid for one drink at the bar during your stay. No change
will be given.
GUIDE
PRICES TAXI PICK UP CONIL OUT AND BACK (1Km = 0.48€)
These are guide prices only. The Taxi driver always has
the right to make supplimentary charges for carrying a
bike, pick up at weekends and public holidays. These charges
are at their discretion. |
